Eleanor H. Driscoll died peacefully on April 16, 2014. Eleanor was the daughter of the late Hilary A. Driscoll and the late Isabel Harrington Driscoll. She was brought up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she attended Spanish and British schools (Northlands). A graduate of Bradford Junior College in Haverhill, Massachusetts (class of 1944), she was employed over the years at American Airlines, the National Bank of NewYork (Citibank), and at Mount Sinai Hospital. She lived in Manhattan most of her adult years until she moved to Portland, Oregon in 2007 to be located close to family. Well travelled around the world, she was an opera, ballet, theater and classical music enthusiast. Eleanor loved animals and had a special affinity for dogs. She is survived by her sister Pauline Driscoll Deaver formerly of Chevy Chase, Maryland. She was a devoted aunt to a nephew, Charles H. Deaver, and two nieces, Nell Deaver Anton and Isabel D. Deaver. She is survived by several dear cousins, six grand nephews, two great grand nieces and one great grand nephew. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday May 30th at The Church of St. Michael The Archangel with a private interment to follow.
