Mary E. Miller

Westbrook—Mary Edith Miller died July 3, 2010. Mary was born in Bartlett, NH on May 17, 1916 the daughter of James E. Currie and Alice M. (Clemons) Currie.

Mary moved to Portland in 1932 and graduated from Deering High School in 1934.

Mary married Alvin T. Miller who died March 17, 1959. She loved her children was a tireless worker who provided for her family when her husband died suddenly.

Mary is survived by her two sons; Gary E. Miller and his wife Sheila of Raymond, ME and Oral C. Dyer and his wife Karen of Coalton, W VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her sister Shirley Compton of Westbrook and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by two brothers; James Currie of Plymouth, NH and Lawrence Currie of Bangor, ME and a sister, Izabel Beaumont of Falmouth, ME.

Mary was very kind to everyone and will be missed by all of us. God Bless her.

A private service and interment will be held at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland.

Arrangements are under the direction of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland.
