Linda was born in Gorham, ME. on January 11, 1943. She was a daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Gray) Robinson and grew up in Portland, ME where she attended local schools.
She started her career as a Human Resource Specialist for Portland Public Schools in 1978 and retired from The Portland School Department in 2003. In addition to working at the school department she also worked at Ralph's Tavern, Bubba's, and Kmart, sometimes working three jobs in one day during the holiday seasons. Linda had a strong work ethic and worked hard to provide for her family.
Linda was an avid Reader and enjoyed spending time at libraries and bookstores. She found comfort in the pages of a book. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, puzzles that challenged her mind, and games like Yahtzee, Scrabble, and Solitaire. She loved dancing, listening to music, and morning coffee chit chats filled with laughter. She also enjoyed talking on the phone with her daughter Teresa, even if she couldn't hear half of what was said, it made for some funny conversations. She loved looking at family photos, past and present, but what Linda enjoyed and loved the most, was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Libby and husband Richard of FL., her son Robert Richards and partner Jessica Higgins of Westbrook, ME., daughter Althea Waite and fiancee' Kevin MacDonald of Portland, ME., and her fur baby of 17 years, Alex the Cat.
