Joseph Wilson Rodney Jr. Joseph Wilson Rodney Jr., 67, of Portland, Maine, passed away unexpectedly in the morning on January 15th 2010. He was the Fiancée of Judy Barlow. Joe was born in Portland, ME on June 10, 1942 a son of the late Joseph W. & Rose (Tucci) Rodney. Joe worked as a foreman for JJ Nissen for many years and later became the manager of Fasulo’s Market for twelve years. He enjoyed reading his Bible with his loving partner Judy, watching the N.Y. Yankees, making memories and sharing laughs with his family. He was the proud father of 11 children and is survived by; Cindy Doody and her husband Larry of Washburn, Lisa Senecal and her husband David of Arundel, Theresa Joyce and her husband Jeffrey of Gorham, Karen Rodney Robert and her husband Normand of Lewiston, Barbara Rodney currently residing in London, England, Pamela Newman of Cumberland, Mandy Rodney of Portland, Joseph Wilson Rodney Jr. and his wife Joanne of Brunswick, Lenore Hartford and her husband Donald of Old Orchard Beach, and Anthony Rodney and his wife Rebecca of South Portland. He was also the loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He loved and adored his 13 brothers and sisters and is survived by Lenore Punsky, Robert Rodney, Mary Dvilinsky, Andrew Rodney, Paul Rodney, Bea Panagakos, George Rodney, Raymond Rodney, Katy Seeley, Elizabeth Pottle, John Rodney and their families. He is also survived by Nancy L. Rodney, with whom he was wed to for 35 years. He was also the father of the late Joseph Wilson Rodney III who died in 1961 and the brother of the late Thomas Rodney who died 2007 and Roseann Hunnewell who died in 2001. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, from 2 – 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 12 noon at the funeral home with Rev. M. Abraham of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland, ME.
