Biddeford- Carol Ann Gray, 71, a long time family member of Green Hill Residence, passed to her heavenly home, peacefully in her sleep last Saturday, December 29, 2012. The oldest child of Lloyd and Helen (Kane) Gray, she was born October 10, 1941 in Portland Maine. Carrie lived at Green Hill for seventeen years, and was at Pineland Hospital for many years before that. She was a quiet and peaceful soul who enjoyed the simple things of life. She is survived by her younger brother, Lawrence Gray of Scarborough, an aunt, Emma Kane of South Portland and many caring and loving cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM, at Saint Maxmilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, 150 Black Point Rd. Scarborough. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland. Family and friends are invited to a reception after the services in Concannon Hall at the church. Arrangements are under the care of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. Carol Ann’s family would like to say a special thank you to Community Partners who treated her as one of their own for so many years and also to Hospice of Southern Maine who helped with her care during her last two months.
