She was a daughter of the late Edmund “Buster” and Florence Pinette of Portage Lake Maine. Arlene worked at Fafnir Bearing in Connecticut and worked at Eagle Lake Nursing home in housekeeping. Arlene and Normand met in Portage in 1960, married in 1961, and moved to CT to start their family; all of their children were born in Connecticut where they stayed until returning to Maine in 1972. She loved Bingo almost as much as her family (maybe more?); she was known for her love of flowers and birds. Arlene was the life of every gathering and so active that she could “out cartwheel” the children well into her sixties! Arlene was known for saying how much, “I love my people, all my people they are all so nice to me”; she was of course referring to everyone in Eagle Lake her favorite place as well as her family and friends.
She is survived by her Siblings and their spouses; Reginald and late wife Racheal Pinette of Ashland, Maine, Leonard Pinette and Joyce of Washburn, Maine; Clarence and Dorothy Pinette of Wallingford, Connecticut; Irene and Lorne Boyles of Portage Lake, Maine; her children and their spouses; Brenda Dionne and her spouse Carlton of Biddeford, Maine; Paul Daigle and his spouse Michelle of Lewiston, Maine; and Sandra Holden and her spouse Albert III of South Paris, Maine. Arlene also leaves behind
many nieces and nephews; her beloved grandchildren and their spouses (9); Chasity Dionne; Dustin Daigle and Becky Wilson of Eagle Lake, Maine; Paul Daigle Jr. of Biddeford, Maine, Harley Daigle of Texas; Mercedes Daigle of Lewiston, Maine; Cassandra and Kyle Mann Sr. of South Paris, Maine; Angela Holden and Ryan Danico of Norway, Maine; and Albert Holden IV (Little Bert)
and Tiffany Vaillancourt of South Paris, Maine. Her Great-grandchildren (17) Chad, Alex, Abby, Noah, Neekoe, Dorothy, Dexter, Casper, Arianna, Ezlynn, Khaos, Huntley, Kyle Jr., Caehyl, Haley, T.J, and Sophia. Arlene is predeceased by her husband Normand Daigle her brothers; Albert Pinette of Lakeland, Florida; and Lawrence Pinette of Meridan, Connecticut, and her first grandchild Chad Dionne of Arundel, Maine.
A private celebration of Arlene’s life will be held at a later date to be announced due to the restrictions of the COVID 19 Virus.

Special things from the family:
Lonely is the home without you,
Life to us is not the same;
All the world would be like Heaven,
If we could have you back again.
A light from our household gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home,
That never can be filled.
May the god of Love and Mercy,
Care for our loved who is gone,
