She was born on March 14, 1957 in Erie, PA and moved to Florida in 2004.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Frances Fromknecht. Sue leaves behind her son, Eric Caldwell from Erie, PA, and her beloved 17 year old dog, Abby. In addition, she is survived by her brother Bob (Lorna) Fromknecht, her sister Jan (Greg) Pashke, nieces Kim Pashke Callahan and Kristy Pashke, and nephew Brian (Aida) Fromknecht. Sue also leaves behind an uncle, aunts, cousins and friends.
Sue was employed as a Kindergarten teacher at Mariposa Elementary School, where she was deeply loved by her students, former students, parents and faculty. Sue had a passion for teaching that few possess, and our family takes great comfort in the outpouring of love and respect that we have received from staff that knew and loved Sue. In addition we were deeply touched to hear of many instances where her students and their parents expressed great affection and admiration for her. Sue leaves behind a legacy of love, acceptance, and commitment to others. She will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Aycock at Tradition - Life Celebration Center, 12571 SW Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
