Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rich lived for many years on Long Island. After 20 years of service, Rich retired from the New York City Transit Authority. Not being one to slow down and be idle, Rich started T. and L. Landscape, Inc. He was the sole owner and operator for over 20 years working predominantly in the Kings Isle Community. Rich loved music. He was especially fond of Frank Sinatra though he didn’t have “Blue Eyes”. He also loved cars and trucks; the flashier the better.
He is survived by his significant other and life line, Helene DeFrancesco of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Frances (Alex) DiGregorio; nieces, Cheryl Ann (David) Williams and Frances Kimkowski; nephew, Arthur Schlette; great niece and nephews, Cassis C. "CC" Schlette-Bigger and Franklin J. Williams, and special friend whom he loved like a daughter, Jessica Penate.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 11:00AM-12:00PM with a memorial service to begin at 12:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL.
Rich’s love for dogs was everlasting. When he spoke about them, he would have tears in his eyes. Please make memorial contributions in honor of Rich's beloved four legged companions, Tuffy, Lucky and Danny to Dogs and Cats Forever or The Humane Society.
