Born on August 22, 1943 in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Milton Parker. She developed the love of sailing, reading and music from her father. She had fond memories of sailing on Watuppa Pond over many childhood summers. She also had a love of sewing and a passion for shoes which helped define her unique self.
Patty attended Truesdale Nursing School in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was an amazing nurse to so many over the 30 years at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart FL where she developed life-long friendship with nurses who became family.

She was an active Mom and Memere’ who loved her family dearly and was involved in each of their lives. She attended sport games (was known to be the “score keeper” at many baseball games), attended holy sacraments/celebrations/graduations and was always there to care for anyone within a moment’s notice.
Patty was a fierce competitor in tennis and enjoyed playing weekly with her friends and making an annual pilgrimage to Biscayne Bay in Miami for the tournament. She was an amazing sewer who was the “fixer” of many pieces of clothing - her latest project included creating colorful masks for all those who needed them. Patty and Roger enjoyed many a world travel and happy hour with Roger and their dear friends every Friday evening - this was always a bright spot to her.
A Funeral Mass is being planned to be held at a future time. Those who wish to remember Patty in a special way, can contribute to St Jude (https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html) or Treasure Coast Hospice (https://www.treasurehealth.org/292/Donate)
Patty’s affectious joy will be missed – however her love will endure and it will be carried in the hearts of all those who had the honor of meeting such a beautiful soul.
