Mary was born in Harlty, Delaware on January 23, 1920 to Joseph and Beatrice Fruscione. She married the love of her life, Jules, Petito on September 14, 1941. They were married for seventy-one years.
She worked in woman’s fashions for Sears in Trenton New Jersey for twenty years. Upon moving to Port St Lucie in the nineteen seventies Mary pursued a career in Real Estate and was employed with Sun Realty for twenty-five years.
Mary enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, music and entertaining her family and friends with her amazing cuisine. She appreciated the outdoors, relishing in the beauty of nature.
She treasured life and lived everyday to its fullest. Her life was a living example of love, kindness and compassion. Mary was an incredible woman who inspired everyone who knew her, she will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Grace and husband John Duvelsdorf; son, Fred and wife Neslie Petito; granddaughters, Stacey and husband Mitchell Nowack; Jamie and husband Joseph Bellissimo; four great granddaughters, brother-in-law, Salvatore Petito and numerous nieces and nephews. All whom she touched and loved deeply.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie or a charity of choice.
