Born in Wilmington, DE, John was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 39 years, moving from DE.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Bruce was a Produce Manager for Winn Dixie Grocery Stores for 35 years, in Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie and Ft. Pierce.
John was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Maryann Bruce of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Christopher John Bruce and his wife Darlene of Charlottesville, VA; two grandchildren Jonas Bruce and Ruby Bruce; one brother, Andrew Bruce, Jr. of Lakeland, FL; and one sister, Linda Bruce of Canandaigua, NY
