Jason Timothy Herlihy

Jason Timothy Herlihy passed away on December 22, 2022. He was 47 years of age, having been born April 21,1975 in Manchester, CT. Jason moved with his family from Manchester, CT to Port St. Lucie, FL in April 1985.

Jason graduated from Port St Lucie High School in 1993. He was an Honor Student earning a Florida Gold Seal Scholarship, and subsequently attended Indian River Community College. Jason had mechanical skills which he honed on his purple Volkswagen Beetle. He was adept with hand tools and made his career in a variety of home improvement trades.

Jason was highly family oriented, loving, and loyal. He enjoyed the companionship of numerous family dogs and cats throughout his entire life. He was a lifelong NY Yankees fan, New England Patriots fan and boxing fan. He was a veritable walking/talking sports statistics machine. Jason was active in Port St. Lucie adult softball for years. Jason's primary passion in life was his son Kristian and was exceptionally proud of the young man Kristian has become at age 17.

Jason is survived by his son, Kristian Herlihy of Port St. Lucie, FL, parents,Tim & Sandy Herlihy of Port St. Lucie, FL, brother, Michael Herlihy of Orlando, FL, brother, Aaron Herlihy of Port St. Lucie, FL, nephews, Aedan and Oliver Herlihy and their mother, April Jennings of Orlando, FL and Kristian's mother, Tasha Lush of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Jason was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, William & Dorothy Herlihy of Manchester, CT and maternal grandparents, Anthony and Dorothy Ferrigno Sr, of South Windsor CT.

Jason also leaves his Aunt Sharon Groves of Stuart, FL, Uncle Anthony Ferrigno, Jr of Manchester, CT, Uncle William Ferrigno and Aunt Roberta Ferrigno of Tolland, CT, Aunt Sheri Biter of East Granby, CT, Aunt Gail Nicknair of East Granby, CT, cousins, Ashlee Ferrigno, Megan Kelley, Mark Ferrigno, Tiffany Alkhtry, Cathy Ladd and Patrick Hugener.

Aycock Funeral Home on Floresta Drive in Port St. Lucie, FL is providing all final arrangements. In accord with Jason's wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21st from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. All are welcome to attend.
