Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was born on October 16, 1927, in Franklin Township in Somerset County, New Jersey to Stephen Baumgartner and Susan Kuski.
She graduated from nursing school at Middlesex General Hospital in 1947 and began her career as a registered nurse, specializing in maternity. In 1949 she married Richard Louis Cadic, Sr. in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2018. Together they had three children, Sue (Skip), Lou (Nita) and Clay, four grandchildren, Shawn (Andre), Morgan (Raun), Patrick (Leslie) and Emily (Vince) and seven great grandchildren, Taylor, Renny Lou, Finley, Jack, Lilly, Hogan and Daphne.
Fran loved traveling, telling stories, quality time with friends and family, watching football, playing bingo, and spending time with her cat, Bonnie and Ellen, her caregiver.
Her life will be celebrated on Friday, December 15 at Aycock at Tradition Funeral Home
in Port St. Lucie from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at South Florida National Cemetery.
