

While living in Jamaica, he studied general education and then moved to Kingston, Jamaica where he continued to educate himself.
Being the social person that he was, it did not take him long to make friends and join the Jamaica club.
His competitive spirit force him to the top of his game, becoming the number one cyclist hence born the name “Silver Bullet”.
While seeking employment he was hired by Caribbean Products. During his employment with Caribbean Products, he was introduced to the music environment. Being the social person that he was that was well fitting for him which led him to the company of such greats like , “U Roy”, King Tubby,s and Jammies just to name a few. The love of that environment gave birth to “Silver Bullet Hifi”, where he was his own selector.
His master and love for the entertainment world made him a force to be recon with.
In 1968 he met Marjorie and they got married in 1971 and from that union produced 3 children, Suzan, Carlton and Don (deceased). He then migrated to Florida where he began a new chapter of life. He was employed by F.E.C railroad and Miami Dade County school board. He then turned his sights on the sport of cricket. Along with friends, Islanders, Cricket Club was born.
Ernest has left behind to mourn his wife Marjorie, children Suzan and Carlton, step daughters Carmelita, Denise, Paulette, grandchildren Temille, Carlton Sheldon, Jr., and Chiram. Sister Lilly and brothers Irvin and Jim(Jamaica). And a host of other relative and very dear friends.
The family will honor Ernest on Saturday, April 26, 2025. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Funeral service at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, a Committal will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery & Cremation Garden, 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
