BETTY M. MARTIN, 93, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2020 with her daughter, Sandy by her side. Betty was born June 6, 1926 in Harrison, Indiana to the late Charles L. Plott and Jessie M. Plott.
She married her late husband, Marvin L. Martin on December 26th 1957 and moved to Port St. Lucie, FL from Indiana. She worked as a hair stylist in Port St. Lucie for many years after owning her own salon in Indiana, which is where she met her late husband. She enjoyed cooking and baking, attending church and teaching Sunday School. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She was a woman of strong faith that gave back to others. Betty was a breast cancer survivor and volunteered to share her experience strength and hope to other breast cancer survivors.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra Corriveau and son-in-law Rodney Corriveau, step-son Deveron Martin and daughter-in-law Susan Martin, granddaughter Elizabeth Martin-Mazzucca and her husband Nicholas Mazzuca, and two great grandchildren, Christian Martin and Gianluca Mazzuca.
