William C. Moore, better known as Bill, unexpectedly passed away the afternoon of August 7th, 2021. One of two sons born in Parma, OH to Glenn and Virginia Moore, Bill was a long time resident of the South Daytona area, and graduated from Spruce Creek High School. An adventurous and curious soul with a sense of humor, Bill also enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family (especially his niece and nephew), Taco Tuesdays, and was young at heart and full of spirit. A longtime employee of Sam’s, Bill found a passion in the bakery department.
He is survived by his brother, Glenn A. (Melissa) Moore; niece, Ashley Powell; nephew Glenn Moore; aunts, Pat Gilkey, Jacqueline Terranova, and Kathy Largent; countless cousins and many others who were loved as family. In addition, he will be greatly missed by his two dogs, who were like children to him: Eris and Cotton. His kind soul was welcomed with open arms by the angels, his loving parents, and family who passed before.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will take place Sunday, August 15th at 2pm in the chapel of Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Dr., Port Orange.
