Robert "Bob" Rodgers of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. at Florida Hospital. Bob was born July 23, 1929 in Atlanta , Georgia. He is survived by his wife Patricia "Pat". Their 39th wedding anniversary would have been September 24 of this year. Bob is survived by his three sons Dennis Rodgers, Jim Rodgers and Tim Mills and his three daughters Susan Williams, Carol Rodgers, and Toni Mills. He has four grandchildren Joshua Rodgers, Darryl Johnson, Lauren Barwood, and Kelly Baughman and 5 great grandchildren Peyton, Paige and Piper Johnson and Cora Belle and Jonah Baughman. He loved his family and will be missed by all. Bob worked most of his life in Ford dealerships as parts managers and then went on to become a dealer in 1982. He loved the game of golf, NASCAR, and gardening. But most of all, he loved God and the people of his church. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach and worked as a greeter there for about 10 years. A memorial service to celebrate his life and homecoming will be held at First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach on Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach building fund.
