Mary Lou Engle (87) was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on September 17, 1934. She passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022, at Seagrass Village in Port Orange, Florida. She was a former Placement Manager of Sony Music (formerly CBS Records) in Terre Haute, Indiana and Carrollton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles. Survivors include her son Jay (Janice) and grandchildren Sarah Engle, Laura Danubio (Dave) and Michael Engle. She graduated from Wiley High School in 1951 and attended Roger Williams College. She held many offices in Phi Beta Psi sorority and was a member of the Port Orange Elkhearts # 2723. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the beach and reading. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association. Volusia Memorial Funeral Home in Port Orange assisted with the arrangements. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana with a private family ceremony.
