Karen was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on December 11, 1941, and passed away in Port Orange, FL, on March 6, 2018. She was married to Robert Klein for 42 years. Robert and Karen moved from Colorado to Florida in 2004. Karen is predeceased by her husband Robert. She is survived by her son, Robert (Bob) Klein.
Karen has been an animal lover all of her life; she would often rescue dogs. She loved the Christmas season and would decorate her home with many festive ornaments. Karen also enjoyed making shadow boxes in a variety of themes.
