Born January 16, 1933, to George B. and Dorothy M. Hutto in St. Augustine, Florida. She resided in Daytona Beach, Fl, and graduated from Mainland High School in 1951. Georgeanne married in June 1951 and moved to Ohio. She had 4 children before moving back to Daytona Beach in 1974. While in Ohio, she was a local radio personality for WMVR. She was active in the Cancer Society as a fund raiser, local hospital volunteer and on the Board for the American Red Cross where she began her 32 year career as an active director of the Disaster Relief Program. Georgeanne served many National Disasters across America including the Xenia, Ohio, tornado case. She was presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award in 1974 for her many hours of service. In 1975, she joined the Daytona Beach American Red Cross where she held many Director Titles. She retired in 1986 but continued to volunteer for the Council on Aging, Port Orange, Fl.
Georgeanne is survived by her husband, Mr. Howard D. Tipton. Her greatest joys were her 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
