Eddie P. Moore was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and also a member of Merchant Marines. He worked as a Union elevator construction worker for Local 1 out of NYC. He helped build the original Twin Towers, Radio City Music Hall stage and the Chrysler Building. He grew up in Manhattan and relocated to New Jersey in 1973 and retired in Little River, SC and Port Orange, FL where he passed away on April 4, 2014 of natural causes. He was known for loving the stock market, horse races, and dog races in Florida. He loved all of his 26 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was survived by his beautiful wife of 57 years, Kathleen Moore, and his 6 loving children, Kathleen Moore, Maureen Moore, Tim Moore, Chris Moore, Mary Ann Fessenden, and Brian Moore. He also joined his beloved son, Edward Moore in Heaven. A visitation will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, on Tuesday April 8th from 4-8 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Basilica of St. Paul on Wednesday April 9th beginning at 9:00 am.
