Bernice had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell funny stories about her childhood and early years in her marriage. After graduating from Business school Bernice went on to have a successful career working in the loan department at First Federal Savings and Loan. She was also a real estate loan officer at Central Bank in South Daytona and worked for Cobb, Cole Attorney's Office in the real estate department. Bernice ended her professional career working for Robert Abraham as his real estate secretary. She was an avid card player and playing Bridge and Canasta was one of her favorite pastimes. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, lifelong friends and her church family. Life taught Bernice to stay strong in the face of health issues and family trials. Bernice was an extremely strong, disciplined and moral person.
