Port Lavaca- Glenda J. Reneau Meyer, 75 of Port Lavaca passed away November 27, 2013. She was born November 6, 1938 in Palacios to the late Elmo and Joyce McFarland Reneau. She was retired from CCISD where she was a bookkeeper. She enjoyed genealogy, quilting, reading , was a talented seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd W. Meyer; daughters, Kim (Trey) Tatum, Kyleen (Donny) Sparks, Kelly (Philip) Wehmeyer; sisters, Nancy (Jesse) Lemke, Susie Gottschalt; daughter-in-law, Alissa Meyer; grandchildren, Russell Tatum, Kassidy Meyer, Shelby Sparks, Kelsey Sparks, P.J. (Melanie) Wehmeyer, Kayla (Luke) Bieck, Stacey (Chris) Boswell, Elizabeth Meyer and great-grandchild, Addison Branham.
She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Meyer; parents and brother, Tommy Reneau.
Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Six Mile Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Richard Meyer, Donny Sparks, Trey Tatum, Russell Tatum, Philip Wehmeyer and P.J. Wehmeyer.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Meyer, Dr. Ty Meyer and her granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Calhoun County Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
