Rev. Debora Ann Overton-Ruddick

Rev. Debora Ann Overton-Ruddick, 74, of Seadrift went home to heaven June 12, 2021. She was born November 13, 1946 in Austin to James Hubert and Minnie Jane Roberson-Overton. She was an ordained minister and member of the Assembly of God.

She is survived by her loving husband, Everett Owen Ruddick; daughters, Shelly A. Armstrong and Colette D. Maglitto (Bob); son, Ronald E. Ruddick (Rosie); sisters, Janie L. Varley (Bobbie) and Betty Jo Lewis (Donnie); brothers, Mike Overton (Judy) and Patrick Overton (Patricia); 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Hubert Overton Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Port O’Connor Cemetery with Sister Joanie McDonough officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service at the Fisherman’s Chapel in Port O’Connor.
