I wanted to give my condolences to Josephine's family.  She was a very wonderful woman with a strong spirit.  I would see her at physical therapy (I was a student and aide at the time) and we would talk about recipes and life in general.   She worked very hard to overcome her physical challenges and was always positive. She shared one of her favorite desserts with me...Pizza Dolce!  (Which is the reason I came across this site.)   I have her original, hand written index card she wrote it down on.   I'm grateful for having the chance to meet her.
