Eileen P. Trappen

Eileen was the beloved mother of James W., who was the center of her world. Her unconditional love extended beyond her son to her cherished grandchildren, James J. and his wife Debra Lynn, and Michael D. and his partner Christina Piazza. She was an adored great-grandmother to Natalie Marie, Salvatore Michael and Melody Rose Trappen and Gaige L. Piazza, who brought her immense joy.

In addition to her roles as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Eileen held a special place in her heart for her dear late brother, Gerald Smith.

Eileen's life was enriched by the presence of her former daughter-in-law, Cathy Trappen, whom she regarded with fondness and respect.

Those who knew Eileen remember her for her unwavering love and the warmth of her embrace. She found immense happiness in spending time with her family, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts forever. Eileen's passions included watching golf and boxing, hobbies that brought her both excitement and relaxation.

A visitation for Eileen will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 6-9 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Funeral mass on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 9 AM at the Chapel at St. Charles, 200 Belle Terre Road, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. Interment to follow Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, New York 11727.
