Words cannot express how much I will miss you. You were a very special brother-in-law and a wonderful man. I will miss our political and current event discussions and seeing you at all our family gatherings. It was always a pleasure cooking for you. Every year on Christmas Eve we enjoyed a glass of holiday eggnog together. Our holidays together are memories my family and I will treasure forever. Oh Aunt Lee I am so sorry to hear this news. Uncle Tony was an amazing person with a great sense of humor and a warm compassionate heart just like yourself. You both truly are a match made in heaven and you were both so lucky to have eachother. I truly cannot imagine the grief you are experiencing and I wish there was something I could do to help ease it for you but I know there isn't really unfortunately. I just want you to know that you and Uncle Tony had a truly special relationship which was apparent to everyone including myself from a very young age. I have always looked up to you both as a model relationship and I want to thank you for that. Your care for eachother, respect for eachother and friendship was always so inspiring to me and I hope one day I can share a bond so special with someone. You both taught me that true healthy love is real and I can never thank you enough for that. Thank you for always allowing Lizzy and Chris and I to feel just as loved and cared about by you both as Allison, Daniel, and Amanda and for always teaching us through both of your characters that being kind, life loving, and lighthearted towards those around you and especially those you care about is not a weakness but a remarkable strength. I was saddened to hear of Cousin Tony's death on October 2. His passing brought back memories to me.  It was always wonderful to see my cousin Lee and her husband. What a great couple! I remember the day Tony proposed to Lee on my parents' enclosed patio in Huntington, Long Island, New York. Lee was the epitome of calmness as Tony produced the ring....well, actually, Lee began to cry and laugh and thank God all at the same time...! And she said YES to many, many wonderful years with dear Anthony Puzzo. I've lived in Raleigh since 2002 so I didn't see my cousins often, but I recall how happy Lee and Tony were, how much fun to have around! We spent some time together in Daytona Beach last October when they drove down to help Almeda (Lee's mother). I was visiting my parents at the same time. Poor Almeda passed away January 26, 2016.  (See Legacy.com, Almeda Lampe, and search for past year to see her obituary). This has been a very rough year for Lee. Fortunately, Lee Puzzo has many friends to help her through these difficult times. Lee's sister Darcy has been an absolute gem (both with Almeda and with Lee), along with so many other family members and friends.  Cousin Lee, let's talk more often - I promise! I remember Anthony coming down to Florida to help his mother-in-law, my sister, Almeda Lampe, move due to a serious leak in her apartment.  He helped her in every way to set up her new living arrangement and calmed her fears. What a blessing he was to have in our family. I will miss our October days at the pool with Anthony engaging me in great conversations.  You are gone too soon, Anthony.

Almost thirty years ago, I worried that this 'guy' that my best friend was gushing about would take her away, but very happily he just slipped right into his spot in our lives and our family ... and he was a perfect fit!  Oh, the laughs we had over the years!  There were high times and low times, summer days spent in the yard and holidays spent unwrapping gifts and long, delicious hours at the dining room table.  Your wedding day to Lee (the iciest, coldest November day EVER!) spent laughing the day away with the new blend of family and friends.   Decades of your being a wonderful, caring and loving uncle to both of my children and then my grandsons.  And no remembrance would be complete if I didn't mention our little excursion on the see-saw that ended in harder laughs than we could ever have thought possible.  Thank you for becoming part of our lives and our family.  I know you will watch over your Lee always.  You are simply gone too soon and will be sorely missed but you will be forever in our hearts. Still can't believe you're gone. I'm glad Boris and I got to see and chat with you just a few days before you passed.  I have so many great memories of you over the last 25 years, from your wedding, to your 50th birthday, to seeing Jersey Boys & Wicked on Broadway.  I remember one time when I was maybe 8 or 9,  you had won a handheld TV somewhere and you were showing it to me at your place, and then out of nowhere you told me I could have it and I was so excited.  I used it for years in my room at home and during car trips, and just about anywhere else. That memory really stands out in my mind.  Anyway, I love you, and you will be very missed. <3

Tony I will miss hanging out with you, I loved our conversations. You were always able to show me a side of something I didn't know was there. I looked up to you and you were a beloved Uncle and a true friend. I am thankful for the times we all had together and you will be remembered, Love Brian.

You were such a treasured part of my life and a truly wonderful husband to Aunt Lee. Daniel and Allison and I were so lucky to have you for an uncle. You always made us laugh and you were such a great listener. You were so respectful and courteous to everyone and that was much appreciated. I have nothing but wonderful memories with you and Aunt Lee. Watching "My Name is Earl" back in the day every Thursday night and eating hundreds of pounds of mussels fra diavlo over the years together LOL. I will always crack up every time I think of how long it took you and Brian to set up the DVD player every time we all watched a movie. And playing The Big Bang Theory Trivia game for two hours only to realize that we had all already won HAHA. You were such a generous person, thank you for all of the nice Christmas and birthday gifts over the years, you made each occasion extra special. I remember one time in recent years the whole family was out to dinner together at Outback and for no reason at all you just decided to pay for everyone. You had such a kind heart. I am so sad that we will never again have another conversation but I am so happy for all of the good times and laughs that we all had. I will cherish them always. We will all take care of Aunt Lee and continue to keep her company. Life will never be the same for any of us without you. I will forever wish that things had turned out differently and I know that you will still be at me and Brian's wedding in spirit. We love you so much, thank you again for everything.
