Beloved wife of the Late Robert. Devoted Mother of Mary Ellen (Mitch) Williams, Donna (Mike) Trump, Carol Stockwell, and Maggie (Bill) Mercer. Cherished Grandmother of Jenny (Matt) Gnagey, Rob (Adrianne Ho) Trump, John Henry Williams, Nate (Mariah) Geiger-Williams, Amanda Stockwell, Ronald (Elizabeth Wong) Stockwell, Kenneth (Jillian Dreusike) Stockwell, Marianne (Kit) Bramwell, Eve (J.P. Hadley) Mercer, Gwen Mercer, and Rose Mercer. Loving Great Grandmother to Naomi Gnagey, Phoebe Gnagey, and Reese Trump. Anne was also a Dear Sister In Law to Margaret Pols and Anne Whalen.
Anne was an amazing woman with humble beginnings who endured a difficult childhood. Anne married Robert in 1954 and they enjoyed a loving and supportive life together for over 50 years. Despite some physical challenges, they led an active life raising four daughters, traveling, and never allowing their disabilities to get in the way of enjoying their life together. Anne lived by the motto "always think about the next guy." She was loved by everyone she met because of the genuine concern she exhibited for others. Anne was active in her Roman Catholic parishes volunteering to help people in need. In her mid eighties, Anne developed a love for drawing and was featured in an art show in Stony Brook in 2018. When questioned after the show if she wished she had started drawing earlier in her life, Anne said, "I never think about that. My life went the way it did and it was full of love, consideration, and respect."
