Mark J. Tymeson, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Dr. Glenn & June Tymeson, brother Skip Tymeson, mother-in-law and father-in-law Leonard & Ruth Mitrowitz, brothers-in-law Jim & John Mitrowitz.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joan Tymeson; sisters & brothers-in-law Judy & Fred Wright, Jill Tymeson and Nancy & David Ihnotic; brother & sister-in-law Brooke & Cynthia Tymeson; sisters-in-law Judy Mitrowitz, Veronica Mitrowitz and Theresa Mitrowitz; aunt Mary Tymeson; several nieces nephews and cousins in the Tymeson, Ihnotic, Barnes and Mitrowitz families and many special friends.
He graduated from Whitney Point High School and Wyoming Seminary. He attended Temple University and graduated from Binghamton University.
He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Friends of Chenango Valley State Park and was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Trout Unlimited.
Mark enjoyed the outdoors, his beloved pets and sports, he was an avid Giants, Phillies and Yankees fan, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends who will dearly miss those witty texts, funny pictures and phone calls.

At Mark’s request, there will be no funeral services at this time. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Maine Cemetery.
