Daniel A. Stanton Sr.

Daniel A. Stanton Sr., age 58, of Port Crane, NY passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, December 21, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Delos and Dorothy Stanton. Dan is survived by his children, Jackie Stanton (Mike Joyce) and Daniel (Denise) Stanton, Jr.; their mother, Sheila Stanton; and his siblings, Glenn (Susan) Stanton, Mark (Janet) Stanton, Rose Stanton, and Joan (Bill) Henderson.

Dan had a profound love for music, particularly eclectic genres, and he deeply appreciated the stories told through music and lyrics. He dedicated himself to his work at Microsoft, his work ethic and passion for technology were only matched by his kindness and compassion for others. A true animal lover, Dan had a special bond with his cat, Hobbes, who was a constant companion and source of joy in his life.

Dan was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and his love for the team was unwavering. Go Bills!

A visitation will be held at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 11am-1pm, immediately followed by a funeral service at 1pm.
