In 1947, in Vancouver, BC, Lance was born to parents Harry & Edna Davidson where he grew up in Point Grey. Family was most important to him and he is survived by his lovely wife Joyce Davidson (nee Jensen), daughter Lana Davidson (son in law Jonathan Marenco), son Ryan Davidson, grandsons Joshua & Gabriel, brother W.Rex Davidson (sister in law Ruth Crameri) and sister Arlene Davidson (brother in law Jim Balcom).
Lance worked for nearly 45 years with AJ Forsyth Steel Corporation as Vice President of Purchasing before retiring and dedicating himself to his local church as the Building Chair of Riverside Comminuty Church. He also served together with Joyce as head ushers for more than 25 years.
Lance & Joyce moved to Lincoln Park in Port Coquitlam after being married where they raised their children. Lance served for years in the Port Coquitlam Marlins Swim Club as announcer and official. Whatever Lance did, he put his whole heart into it. He was a loyal friend and integrous in all he did. He was wise and generous and loved by all.
Through Lana, Lance began to have a huge passion for the church family in Costa Rica and more specifically for the work being done through the Costa Rica Kids School Sponsorship Program.
Lance was known as an avid collector of many antique things including his infamous icepicks.
Lance will be deeply missed by his family and friends but we celebrate his life and know that he is now filled with joy - completely whole and forever with the Lord.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept my trust in God. Now there's a prize reserved for me - the crown for a life lived according to what is good and right.
