Seth was born in 1955 in Philadelphia, PA, had a childhood in Ozone Park NY and teenage years in Las Vegas, NV. Seth was a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He was known to travel to Las Vegas at least once a year and usually took friends and family with him just to show them his stomping grounds which included Red Rock Canyon. He was an avid crossword puzzler and gardener. Seth had a signature look consisting of Pocket T shirt, camo vendor hat and usually 2 pairs of glasses hanging around his neck. He jingled as he walked with 5 keyrings attached to his waist. Seth's classic car was unmistakable and he loved that jeep. Prior to his illness Seth hiked the Appalachian Trail and completed most of the state of Georgia. Seth's favorite piece of advice he would give out was "You can fill a bath tub up with a thimble" as he thought saving money was good sound advice. Seth was always surrounded by family whether he liked it or not. And on the morning of his passing before being taken by the funeral home, his family gathered around the bed to say goodbye in a very loving and personal way. He was a husband, father, grandfather, son in law, brother in law, uncle and friend to those in the room with him. As he had rubbed his beard on the face of most everyone in the room which he called "Giving Face", we had the opportunity of rubbing our face against his beard for the last time and "Gave Face" back to him.
Seth leaves behind the love of his life for the past 37 years, Denise, a son Jason Gilgor, and grandsons Bryce Gilgor and Alexander Neuman. He was the leading man in the lives of nieces Jennifer, Olivia and Valentina ("Peanut"). Seth leaves behind siblings Bernie, Lon and Sue, and good friends Donnie, Arnie, Peter, David and Stonge to name a few but Seth had many more friends at CCU who donated time to Seth so he could fight his battle with cancer and Seth and his family were deeply touched and grateful for their generousity.
A service will be held in Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas at a future date. No services are scheduled at this time due to Covid 19.
