Robert H. Engelbert, 86 of Punta Gorda, FL died Sunday, May 9, 2010. He was born November 17, 1923 in Wilkinsburg, PA to Fred W. and Concordia Mueller Engelbert. He came to Florida in 1973 from Pittsburgh, PA after retiring from Bell of Pennsylvania. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Robert was in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the European Theatre where he was awarded three bronze stars and two victory medals while serving with the 857 Chemical Co. Air Operations.
He is survived by a son, Richard Joyce of Warren, PA; daughter, Carol Stephen Bozman of Port Charlotte, FL; daughters-in-law, Linda Miller, Meadville, PA, Antoinette Engelbert, Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Fred Engelbert; 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Donna Jane and his sons Robert, Jr. and Daniel.
