Anna M. Hight

Anna M. �"Ann” Hight, 86, of Port Charlotte, FL, and formerly of Levittown, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte, 2500 Harbour Boulevard, Port Charlotte, FL 33952, with her family at her side. She was born August 2, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Charles and Anna (nee Fogarthy) Meyers. Ann attended and graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pa. Ann was married to Harry B.G. Hight, beloved and late husband on January 6, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of Saint Raphael Catholic Church, 770 Kilbourne Avenue, Englewood, FL, 34223 and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and her pet rabbits, Jack and Andy.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Hight (Susan) of Philadelphia, Pa, Michael Hight (Kaye) of Fort Worth, TX, and Harry Hight (Cheryl) of Hatboro, Pa; daughters, Diane Huber (Francis) of Port Charlotte, FL; and Christine Hight of Port Charlotte, FL; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Ann, along with her husband Harry, dedicated much of their time to helping unborn children through Pregnancy Solutions and the family is requesting in lieu of flowers please make a donation to Pregnancy Solutions, 504 East Venice Avenue, Venice, FL 34285.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at Saint Raphael Catholic Church, 770 Kilbourne Avenue, Englewood, FL, 34223.
