Stacy was a Nederland High School graduate of 1996. She attended Lamar University to earn her Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Nursing Administration. Stacy worked as a nurse for 20 years where she attended to and cared for thousands of patients. Stacy was an avid supporter of multiple charitable organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program, and Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeast Texas. She served on the Relay for Life committee where she spent time as a Co-chair of the committee and Survivor Chair.
Stacy was a loving mother, sister, Nannie, aunt and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity, and love. She will always be remembered for the love and devotion she showed to her family and friends. Stacy was very conscientious in serving her patients and their families with respect, charity, and dignity. She always served with a true servant’s heart in all aspects of her life and career.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Katie and Ryan Litynesky of Palestine, Texas. Siblings, Stephanie Richoux (Julie) of Richmond, Texas and Steven Jacobs (Bevin) of Flower Mound, Texas. Nieces, Mia Jacobs and Camille Richoux. Nephews, James Jacobs, Maxson Richoux, and Elijah Richoux. Grandma Syble Simon of Nederland, Texas. Father, Jim Jacobs of Nederland, Texas. A host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her mother, Kat Simon Jacobs. Grandparents, Raleigh Simon, Bill and Grace Jacobs. Uncles, Billy Jacobs III and Jeff Jacobs. Cousin, Keith Jr. (Bubba) Worthy.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th Street, Port Arthur, Texas, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Ave, Nederland, Texas, Pastor John Hughes, officiant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block, Port Neches, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Autism Speaks, Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program, or Alzheimer’s Association.
