Roy A. Lawrence, age 87, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Saturday February 2, 2019. Roy was a native of Cranston, RI. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Roy enjoyed his family and spending quality time with them, he also enjoyed cooking and was an avid woodworker.
Roy is survived by his wife, Debbie Lawrence; his sons, Roy "Buddy" (Jo Ann) Lawrence and Donald (Jill) Lawrence; a daughter Kathi (Richard) Orgeron; his grandchildren, Joseph (Alisha), Eric Lawrence, and Rachel Lawrence. Roy is, also, survived by a host of nieces and nephews from Rhode Island.
A gathering of friends for Roy will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM following a private family committal service will be held.
