Robert Sidney Womble Jr.

And family at Arden Nursing Home on January 16, 2023. Robert was a

Decorated veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Robert was born on October 16, 1942 in Crossett, Arkansas to his parents Robert S Womble Sr. and Ruth Irene Womble. When he was just 17, Robert

Decided he wanted to join the Marines and was stationed at MCAS in Yuma,

Arizona. Robert would go on to serve in the Vietnam War. After serving in Vietnam, he met and married Martha in 1967. Robert and Martha chose to settle in the town of Port Arthur.

Robert worked as an environmentalist in the Port Arthur refineries before

Eventually retiring from what is now known as Valero.

When he wasn’t working, Robert had a passion for Cooking, Hunting, and

Fishing.

Robert was predeceased by his wife, Martha Lee Womble; mother and father

Robert and Ruth Irene Womble, and Sister Gloria Jean McDuffy. He is

Survived by his daughter Theresa Renea Broussard; his son, Robert S.

Womble III and his wife Honey Womble; his 5 grandchildren, Keith

Broussard and his wife Alysia Broussard, Zachery Broussard, Stephanie Miles

And her husband Joshua Miles, Charlie Womble, and Elizabeth Womble; his

4 great grandchildren Crystal, Eleanor, Memphis, and Samuel.

5pm-8pm January 23, 2023 and 8:30am- 10:00am January 24, 2023. The

Funeral service will be held at 10:00am January 24, 2023 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
