Nam Tran, 62, of Stafford, Texas, formerly of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on Thursday April 7, 2011 in Stafford, Texas. He was born on October 10, 1949 to Linh Tran and Linh Thi Tran in Buichu, Vietnam.
He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas until moving to Stafford, Texas three years ago. He was a member of Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church and self employed Shrimper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother.
His survivors include, spouse Dau Thi Nguyen of Stafford Texas; three sons, Tuan Tran, Duy Tran, Chris Tran; two daughters, Trinh Tran, Diem Tran; a brother, Binh Tran; three sisters, Dinh Tran, Thom Tran, Nhot Tran, and fifteen grandchildren.
Gathering of friends and family will be held Monday thru Friday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Rosary recited on Monday at 6 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur, Texas.
Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church Port Arthur, Texas with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park Groves, Texas.
