Morgan is survived by her dad, Blaine Christian & wife, Wendi (her bonus mom); her mom, Shelly Jackson Christian; two sisters, Meagan Amburg and Maddie Amburg; one brother, Jackson Christian; grandparents, Gene & Anna Christian, Tommie & Sara Erwin, and Terry Jackson; Aunts and Uncles, Ben & Brenda Christian, Mike & Paige Tobias, Jon & Darla Jones, Rory & Cathy Jones, Michael Jackson, John & Amy Erwin, John & Michelle Schulte; cousins, Kaylynne Christian, Addison Tobias, Andie Tobias, Haleigh Jones, Hannah Jones, Holly Jones, Jessica Valka, Julia Jones, JoBeth Jackson, Tommie & Alexia Sawyer, Nora Erwin, Dylan Erwin, JB Erwin; along with many more relatives and friends.
Morgan was a beautiful soul. She lit up a room when she walked in with her contagious smile. Her beautiful red hair made her stand out among many. She loved to hunt with her dad every deer season and fish. Morgan also loved getting her nails and toes done with her bonus mom. She was a momma’s girl and called her “Ms. Mommy”. Morgan was very talented in drawing and photography. She got her creative side from her mom and they loved doing all things “creative” together. Morgan and her brother Jackson had their special bond and she always said he was the popular one. Morgan had two older sisters that were always there for her to guide her in difficult situations. Meagan was her make-up artist and guru; Maddie was her fashion consultant. She didn’t trust anyone else more than them to make sure she looked her best. She was very grateful for her siblings. Morgan was blessed to have a close relationship with all of her grandparents. She loved Pappaw’s brownies that he would make for her anytime she wanted. She loved that every day after school Nanna would bring them for Dairy Queen ice creams. Morgan was the light of Granna & Papa’s life. Granna always spoiled Morgan. Family would always ask Morgan when she was very little, “Who spoils you?” – Morgan would point to Granna and say “Granna”. When she was little, Morgan enjoyed spending time with her Pappaw and Nanny. Pappaw named her Pinky and she would introduce herself to everyone by that name. Morgan’s friends were very special to her and she took her job as Flute Section Leader very serious, as well as Big Sis. Her “Littles” in the band were very special to her. Although she is no longer here physically, her spunky spirit will always be with her family and friends. Morgan touched more lives in her short 17 years than she knew.
