Hao Van Do, 92, of Port Arthur, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Do was born November 15, 1925 in Vietnam. He was a kind, wonderful man with a big heart. A man of strong, unwavering faith and belief in God, who was well loved by his family and friends.
Mr. Do was preceded in death by his parents, Thuyet and Na Do; sister, An Thi Do; son-in-law, Hoang Van Nguyen; and grandson, Quynh Quoc Nguyen. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lua Thi Do of Port Arthur; children, Luot (Hoang) Thi Do of Port Arthur; Hien Van Do and wife Thu of Orange; Na Thi Do-Pham and husband Luat of Austin; Hanh Van Do and wife Diem of Austin; Lanh Thi Pullen and husband Chris of Beaumont; Loan Thi Do-Tran and husband Dung of Groves; Han Van Do and wife Bich of Beaumont and Joseph Van Do of Port Arthur, brother, Thao Van Do and step-brother, Loc Do. Mr. Do also leaves behind 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren to cherish his memories.
Visitations will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Special Mass will be at 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018, at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
