Robert “Bob” Frick, 87, died peacefully at home with congestive heart failure and cancer.
Bob was born to William “Crist” & Sara “Dolly” Frick on August 19, 1924 at Whites Hospital in Lewiston, ID. Bob grew up in Clarkston, WA.
In 1943 he entered the Army Air Corp. Before being shipped to England, Bob went to Spokane Trade school in Spokane where he met his wife Margaret “Peggy” Reisenauer. He was discharged from the Army Air Corp in 1946. He then returned to the Lewiston/Clarkston area working for Potlatch Forest for a short period. On June 6, 1946, Bob and Peggy were married at St. Galls Church in Colton, WA. They then moved to Spokane, WA were Bob worked for Otis Elevator for 23 years. In 1968, they purchased Angeles Machine Works in Port Angeles and moved his family to Port Angeles. Bob retired in 1989.
Bob loved to work in his home wood shop and he was in the process of refurbishing a 1927 two door Chevy Sedan.
Bob was preceded in death by his siblings: sister, Lulu Farr and brother, Jean Frick and his wife, Peggy. He is survived by six children: Chris Manchester, Mike (Gail) Frick, Randy (Linda) Frick of Port Angeles; John (Geri) Frick of Bothell, Terrie (Rick) Greaves of Tenino and Steve (Rita) Frick of Port Angeles; 9 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on January 14th at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 209 W. 11th St., Port Angeles, at 11:00 a.m. Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Chapel, Port Angeles made the arrangements. Please visit the online guest book at www.harper-ridgeviewfuneralchapel.com
