Mr. Hyatt was retired Agriculturalist with the United States Department of Agriculture.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Annie Mae Pullen Hyatt; wife, Dorothy Fletcher Hyatt; two brothers, George W. Hyatt and Edward Earl Hyatt; and one sister, Erma Jean Hyatt Holley.
Survivors include five sons, Dustin Allen Hyatt, Densil (Sabrina) Pullen, Michael (Sabrina) Brown, Jr., Patrick (Tiffany) Brown, Randy (Nicole) Brown; three brothers, Willie A. "Pee Wee" Hyatt, Jr., James B. (Joan) Hyatt, John Henry (Dean) Hyatt; one sister, Resa M. Hyatt Hickman; seventeen grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family; and special friend, Donna Smith.
Funeral services are 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at College Heights Baptist Church, Poplarville with Brother Walter Pierce and Brother Brandon Burge officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Poplarville. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, Saturday at the church.
