Robert Dale Milner

Mr. Milner was born September 16, 1932 in Mize, Mississippi to John Henry Milner and Pearline Milner. He was a local electrician and plumber; a member and past Post Commander of the Leland D. Stanford VFW Post 4196 in Poplarville; a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War; and of the Methodist faith. He married the former Bonnie Lucille Bullock on December 27, 1985.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Robert Kent Milner; and two brothers, Donald Milner and Freddie Milner.

Family members include his wife of 32 years, Bonnie Lucille Bullock Milner; six children, Stanley D. Milner (Barbara), Johnny Brent Milner (Dianne), Paul Jerome Milner (Tina), David L. Brewer, II (Karen), Diedra Brewer Hohensee (Christopher), Dana Alonzo (Anthony); two sisters, Peggy Jean Byrd, Patsy Ruth Stapleton; twenty eight grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:00 am. Rev. Larry Head officiate the service. Burial with military honors will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm unitl 9:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
