Linda Allen Ourso, age 56, of Prairieville, Louisiana departed this life into God's presence on Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born on December 4, 1967, in Poplarville, Mississippi. Linda attended Poplarville High School and furthered her education at Pearl River Community College becoming a registered nurse. Linda was a member of Jesus Name Holiness Church. Linda lived a rich and fulfilling life, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path. Her compassion and kindness resonated deeply with everyone she met. A devoted wife, she cherished her husband unconditionally and as a mother and grandmother, she exemplified love and nurturing. Linda will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit and the warmth she shared will continue to be felt by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clay Allen; one sister, Cassie Malley and grandparents, Thurman Allen and Nell Allen.
Left to forever cherish her memory, her loving husband, Carey G. Ourso; mother, Brenda Diane Wisby; one daughter, Christin Rachelle Collier; one son, Caleb Joel Collier; three step kids, Kristen Lee Ourso, Austin James Ourso (Maddy) and Nicholas Chase Ourso (Bronier); one sister, Kally Freeman; three brothers, Daniel Allen, Roy Allen and Boe Allen and seven grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend Linda's Funeral Service on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Jesus Name Holiness Church, 10146 US-11, Poplarville, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am followed by her funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
