Mr. Howell was born April 22, 1949 in Tylertown, Mississippi to John Howell and Thomas Myrtle Howell. He was a retired truck driver and of the Pentecostal faith. He will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two step daughters, Debbie Burke, Leann Guillott; one brother, John “Bud” Howell; two sisters, Anise McLin and Judy Dunn.

Family members include his companion of 34 years, Elizabeth Reno; five children, Roy (Shannie Young) Howell, Thomas Howell, James (Melissa) Howell, Patrick Mizell, Melissa Howell; four step children, Mildred K. (Johnnie) Martin, Esther (Michael) Harper, Dale Wooten, Thomas (Tracy) Wooten; two brothers, Earl Howell, Frank Howell; three sisters, Thelma Lambert, Helen Jenkins, Callie Reed; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
