Shelby Jean McFarland Wages, age 68, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at NMMC in Tupelo. She was born on September 3, 1953 to James and Geraldine McFarland. Shelby was a retired compliance officer and enjoyed flower gardening and fishing.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2021 at Cruse Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Luther Wages; a son, Patrick Tidwell; two daughters, Paula Bryant and Donna Palmer; nine grandchildren; Tori Ray, Kelton Tidwell, Emily Wilson, Cal Bryant, Erin Ross, Noah Bryant, Hannah Brasher, Jade Barton and Isaac Dyer; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Jadelynn Ray, Releena Ray, Hurley Ray, Seth Ray, Kerri Ray, Terry Ray, Paxton Brasher, Blakelyn Brasher, Jaedyn Oates, Roman Dyer, Evie Barton, Essie Vance Ross, Aubrey Colburn and Ryland Colburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Keith Tidwell.
Pallbearers will be Cal Bryant, Isaac Dyer, Noah Bryant, Justin Brasher, Patrick Tidwell and Donald Ray.
