David Keith Browning, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Kaiser Permanete Hospital in Vacaville, CA. He was born May 3, 1964 to Geneva Tate Browning and Charles Browning. He worked in the furniture industry for many years and as a security guard before becoming disabled. After being diagnosed with cancer, he fought a courageous battle. He loved his family and spending time with them.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Martin Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Russell and Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating, and Garret Gray will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Ingomar Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Gail Browning; his parents, Charles and Geneva Browning; his sons, Jeremy Browning (Samantha), Dakota Johnson and Brian Weeden (Kim); a daughter, Nicole Herzog (Jerod); his father and mother in-in-law, Joe and Beverly Tucker; a sister-in-law, Lee Anne Burton (Keith); two brothers-in-law, Wayne Butler (Garret) and Joseph Tucker (Mary Katherine); three grandchildren, Gavin Herzog, Gabe Herzog and Colin Browning; a niece, Kylee Finley and four nephews, Will Tucker, Finn, Olly and Crew Gray-Butler.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Curtis and Lois Browning and Jack and Eula Tate, his brother, Curt Browning and his daughter, Christy Browning.
Pallbearers will be Phil Stokes, Russell Graham, Mike Gannon, Wayne Osbourne, Wayne Butler and Joseph Tucker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Darell Manning, Ben Barnes, Dominic Tommasone, Chris Guerin and Shenan Staser.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 1 to 2 PM at Martin Baptist Church.
