Cynthia Ann Johnson

Cynthia Ann Johnson, age 67, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born on October 17, 1956 to Russell and Pat Holland Gillen. Cynthia obtained her RN degree from Northeast MS Community College and enjoyed working at several local hospitals as well as travel nursing. She was a member of Chesterville Baptist Church. Cynthia enjoyed decorating and flower gardening.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 2024 at Browning Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Clark officiating. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Maggie Malone (Mitch); her son, Logan Johnson; five grandchildren, Hailey Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Maverick Malone and Maci Malone; and three brothers, Glenn Gillen (Angie), Daniel Gillen (Sharon) and Michael Gillen (Kristy); and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the Father of her children, Doug Johnson; her grandson, Hunter Johnson and a brother, Keith Gillen.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
