Benjamin Martin Pitts, age 54, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Pontotoc Hospital. Ben was born September 26, 1970 to Sam Gates Pitts, Jr. and Rita Otts Biffle. He attended Pontotoc High School and was employed at Tapco in Tupelo. Ben enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchild and his work family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc, with Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Ecru Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Pitts family with the arrangements.

Survivors include his children, Alexis Pitts, Elizabeth Pitts and Benjamin Pitts; a granddaughter Ivy Mae Roberson; and a brother, Len Pitts (Melinda), a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and his best friend, Glen Wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents, Sam G. and Helen Sue Pitts; and Byron and Lola May Otts.
