Mary Lorraine Janusky Scutti 85, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, June 9th, 2018. Mary was born on April 13, 1933 in a small coal mining town of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. She was the middle child of 5 children, three brothers and a sister, and had a happy upbringing. Years later when she was a teenager, she met up with a girlfriend in Philadelphia at a church dance and a young gentleman by the name of “John” or “Johnny” as she called him, who asked her for a dance. A few years later, they happily married and were together for 64 years, and had two daughters.
Mary’s professional life involved working for the United States Government as an “Administrator of the District Council” for the IRS and served 37 years. Dedicated, kind-hearted, fun-loving and noble, Mary was a very special woman who cared very much for her family and was well respected by all who knew her. A devote Catholic, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she is survived by her husband John Scutti, her two daughters Victoria Rojas-Schopper and Anna Marie Muniz, her granddaughter Sophia Rojas, her grandsons Dennis Kuno II and Jason Kuno, great grandchildren and her youngest brother, Walter Janusky. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
Mary will be buried at "Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery" in North Lauderdale, Florida.
